Version 9.0 is on Google Play now. The App Store version comes next.
New
- 13 languages: pick yours in Settings. When you share a scorecard or report, the app asks whether to write it in English or in your language
- Archer cards: one card for each archery organisation you shoot in, with your member number, age group and bow class in that organisation's own words
- Award and classification cards for 21 archery organisations on the scorecard: the mark you reached, the next mark and how to claim it. A Set button opens the Award Setup page for the round
- Archery GB and Archery Australia classifications, indoor and outdoor
- Competition or Practice: when you start a round, the app asks which one it is. Competition Rules hide the sight help that World Archery rules do not allow on the field. You can turn the question off in Settings
- Kings of Archery rounds: qualification, both finals and the compound tie-break, on their own faces
- 983 rounds from 41 organisations. Filter the Rounds list by organisation
- Competition level and record status are two fields, in your organisation's own words
- Weekly Goal: a goal for each week, and a goal of 0 makes a rest week
- Round location: choose "Detect where I shoot" under Location in Settings > Archer Details, and the app notes where you shot each round
- Each entry keeps the time zone it was shot in. Set Time Zone in Settings sets it for older entries
- Update Older Rounds in Settings adds Skill, handicaps and distance figures to older rounds, and corrects the Skill of older Worcester, X=11 and Imperial Indoor rounds. Your scores never change
- Round summary: tap the archer in the Score or Plot header to see the round so far and each end against your average
New optional Pro subscription
- Pro adds extra analysis to the features you have
- Scorecard Analysis: ranking and personal best, Highlights and Observations, charts for every round type, Score Estimates and Action items, and one row for each spot on the Round: Arrow Group card on multispot faces
- Round: Arrow Data table on the scorecard: one row for each arrow, for a coach or a spreadsheet
- Group button on the Plot page and the scorecard: the whole distance, the Detailed look and each spot of a multispot face
- Round summary: a score forecast, Score Estimates and the group centre
Improved
- Plot page: easier moves between ends, targets and distances. A bar shows where you are in the round, with Prev and Next buttons
- Round search: tap an organisation or a round type in the index to narrow the list, no typing needed. Or type a code, a face such as Vegas, or the name an organisation prints
- Personal bests follow each organisation's own tie rules and need a complete round
- Redesigned weekly Progress report with a new Skill & Handicap chart
- Empty pages show a card that says what to tap next
- Plot Settings, a new page: arrow hole size (large holes or your arrow diameter), the text in each hole and the shading of older ends
- New look: a compact Score and Plot header, a cleaner Journal, and clearer colours in the dark theme
- Gear: pick your arrow diameter from a list of sizes, an Extender field on the stabiliser set, and a Make Favourite button on Edit Setup
- Larger text and small screens: buttons and captions fit, and popups keep their buttons on the screen
- A new install asks for your bow type once and sets the default round for that bow
- Handicap 2022 is off on a new install. Turn it on in Settings. An update keeps your setting
Fixed
- Skill on a new round with two halves at one distance (the 720 rounds, WA 18m, Lancaster) shows its true value. Rounds you already scored keep their figures
- Skill on Worcester and X=11 rounds is correct. Update Older Rounds corrects the rounds you already scored
- Custom IBO 3D and NFAS 3D rounds, two Clout rounds and four Archery NZ rounds have the correct maximum score
- Stability improvements
